Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Lurinth, Inc. ("LootPup", "we") collects when you use the LootPup website, web app, and Apple Wallet pass, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose; if anything is unclear, email support@lootpup.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Sign-in details — when you sign in with Apple or Google we receive your email address (or an Apple private relay address), your name if you share it, and a provider ID. We never see your Apple or Google password.
- Payout details — the PayPal email, Venmo/Cash App handle, or email for gift-card delivery you enter when cashing out.
- Support messages — anything you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Account and activity data — your LootPup account ID, balance, ledger history, offers started and completed, cash out requests.
- Device and technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and, if you add the Wallet card, an Apple push token so the card can update.
- Offer completion data from Partners — when an offer network confirms a completion it sends us the offer ID, a transaction ID, the amount, and sometimes your IP address at completion.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or payment card numbers.
How we use it
- To run the Service: create your account, track your balance, update your Wallet card, and pay cash outs.
- To match offer completions to your account. Your LootPup account ID is passed to Partners as a "sub-ID" so their confirmation can be credited to you.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, including detecting duplicate accounts, VPN/emulator use, and reversed completions.
- To send transactional messages (cash out confirmations, account notices). We send marketing email about new offers only if you turn it on in Account, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.
- To comply with law, including tax reporting where required.
Who we share it with
- Offer networks and advertisers — your account ID (sub-ID), IP address, and device/browser information when you view or start an offer, so they can attribute and verify completions. Each Partner's own privacy policy applies to what happens inside their app or site.
- Payout providers — PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, and gift-card issuers receive the details needed to send your payment.
- Service providers — Cloudflare (hosting and database), Apple (Wallet pass delivery and push), Google and Apple (sign-in), and email delivery providers, each under contract to process data only for us.
- Legal — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Cookies and local storage
The web app stores a session token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Sign-in providers may set their own cookies when you use their buttons.
Retention
We keep account, ledger, and completion records while your account is active and for as long as needed afterwards for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax and legal obligations (generally up to 7 years for financial records). You can ask us to delete your account; we will remove personal data not required to be retained.
Your choices and rights
- Turn marketing email on or off any time in Account, or use the unsubscribe link.
- Remove the Wallet card from your phone at any time; this stops push updates to that device.
- Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Email support@lootpup.com and we will respond within the time required by law. We may ask you to verify your identity first.
Children
LootPup is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, sign-in is handled by Apple and Google rather than passwords, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by law.
Changes
We will post updates here with a new date. Significant changes will also be flagged in the app.
